The traditional Art of watchmaking is revived in the delicate designs by ELYSEE. Meanwhile, constant improvement is the philosophy lived by the entire ELYSEE-Team.

ELYSEE follows a straight path and appeals through its attractive designs, that elegantly integrate technical guidelines, and through its excellent price-performance ratio.

The Suisse watchmaker founds a small watchmaking business in a small town near Bémont (Suisse Jura), and calls it ELYSEE.

The first ELYSEE watches are created. They were high-quality ladies’ watches of massive gold and decorated with gemstones.

The brand ELYSEE is newly registered by the company Harer in the ‘golden town’ Pforzheim. The brand is redirected and adheres to manufacturing mechanical watches of gold bodies. The company Harer is one of Germany’s leading manufacturers for jewelry.

The brand ELYSEE is sold to the business man Reiner Seume in Düsseldorf.

Again the band is redirected. The logo is changed as the range of products grows. The company is only focused on the German market, for now.

Business relations across Europe are developing.

ELYSEE is involved in historic motorsport. The first private-label watches are being developed.

Graf Berghe von Trips becomes the brand ambassador. As the most successful race car driver of the post-war era he was a perfect fit for the brand. The first timepiece of this edition was created that same year.

Celebrated as a living legend, the Formula 1 driver Jochen Mass becomes the brand ambassador. The unique timepieces created in close collaboration with Jochen Mass were released the same year.

ELYSEE is passed on to the next generation. Reiner Seume introduces his son Julian to the company after completion of his international studies.

The Brand ELYSEE is represented in 30 countries around the world.

The national association for watches and jewelry in Pforzheim and its members have established new policies for the ‘Made In Germany’ stamp. ELYSEE has been a part of it since day one and manufactures all watches in Germany.
